The market is every Sunday morning in Montcuq.
This popular market in the south of the Lot & it is sometimes difficult to make your way through the stalls. About sixty local producers are present all year round, but this number can climb to 150 in summer! The singing accent of the Lot mingles with that of the English, Dutch and other new Lotois who have chosen Montcuq for their new life. Quality and freshness of the products, friendliness and sweetness of the country: a cocktail of success for this small market. |
The Libos market is, with its 200 exhibitors, one of the largest markets in the South West.
Every Thursday, from 6 a.m., traders deploy their displays for the morning. Fresh fish, fruits and vegetables, poultry and many others share the streets of the city to the delight of gourmets. The Libos market is now a must for any holidaymaker wishing to enjoy quality local products. |
Cahors market

In the city center of Cahors, Wednesday and Saturday mornings all year round, the Saint-Etienne cathedral square is adorned with its many multicolored stalls and is home to one of the most beautiful markets in the South West.
Traditional traders (butchers, greengrocers, pork butchers…) rub shoulders with local producers (foie gras, “Rocamadour” goat cheese, Quercy farm lamb, the famous apple cake called “Pastis”…) and the magic begins. Your camera will be a useful companion for capturing the beauty cathedral domes or the colourful tapestry of the market traders. |
